​       We live in tumultuous times—that much is certain. However, in the time of crisis, there is opportunity to accrue glory. Heroes will emerge on every side. And what is concomitant to heroism is free expression. Heroism will be found in every piece in this issue. My essay, A Defense of The First Amendment, provides a philosophical context to the nature of things. This cancel culture, this reign of terror, this puritanism must end.
