The Marriage
by Timothy Liu
You knew I had no choice but to take the couch and here you are in my arms how much longer will it take for me to come as I squirt more silicone lube into my fist you staring up into my face as I straddle your hips your eyes never looking more luminous there there you know that kind of contorted look men get with beads of sweat starting to pool in their backs only this time I can’t quite get over the time it will take to get another running start when I could collapse and be done with it all. Timothy Liu's latest books of poems are Down Low and Lowdown and Luminous Debris, both out from Barrow Street. |
