Yana Ivantcheva
Yana Ivantcheva is a Bulgarian-born, award-winning film director and writer whose work blends striking visual storytelling with emotionally driven narratives. Her documentary Under The Skin (2014) won Best Factual and Best Edit at the Scottish Students Royal Television Society Awards and later received Awards of Merit at the Best Shorts Competition. Her psychological drama It’s A Girl!(2021) screened at the Sofia Pride Film Festival and won multiple international awards, including Best Director at the Golden Wheat Awards.
